Mandala Madness Part 15

Mandala Madness Part 15

Mandala Madness Part 15

We are nearly there....

This week you will add a wreath of leaves to your mandala.
Because each and every one of you is a winner!

The Laurel Wreath has always been presented to the victor or winner, and this has been a tough challenge...not quite over yet though!

As I was designing this part I was actually thinking of headbands of flowers, and dancing around in summer, so wether you want to see it as a laurel wreath or flowers in your hair, let your creativity flow and your inner hipppy dance. 🙂

Just a little heads up! Round 97, where you make 2 fltr in the same st, place a stitch marker in the back loop of that stitch to help you next week.

Please remember this is my design and is covered by copyright law. You may share a link to this page with anyone, you may print off the photo or written tutorials for your own use, but please do not alter or change in any way.
Please love and respect me, as I love and respect you.

If you haven't read the introduction post, then please find it here. You will find all the information on Yarn Packs, how much yarn you will need, hook sizes, the finished size of your blanket and all the resources available.

It is worth book marking the main Mandala Madness page as it will contain all the posts about the project and each weekly part.

You may also like to add this CAL to your Ravelry Queue.

I also have a group on Ravelry, which covers all of my designs. I will try to check in there every day. I now have some lovely moderators, thank you so much for your help ladies.

I suggest taking a look through the photo tutorial here before downloading the pdf to work from, but if you just can’t wait to get started I have put all the pdf downloads together.

And for those of you who like to follow the Video Tutorial by Esther Dijkstra from itsallinanutshell.com, just click here and the link will take you straight to the video for this part.
Again my love and thanks to Esther for the amazing job she has done with these videos.

  1. Hi Helen!
1st of all, I’m loving your pattern.
I’m having a bit of trouble with Row 95. I’ve tried everything including larger hooks but it’s still puckering. The only way I can get it to lay flat is to do 5 loose chains between the treble clusters. Will that be ok in the long run and/or do you have any ideas?
    Thanks so much!!

    • Helen Helen

hi Nikki, don’t forget you need ch 3 before the clusters and ch-3 after, so the 9 tr cluster has a ch-3 either side, so does the sc… if that makes sense, on the next round you will make sts into those chain spaces, so do make sure you have a chain space either side 🙂

  2. I wonder where I can find part 16-17-18. I don’t seem to find it in danish or any languise at all. I simply love your patern.

    • Helen Helen

  3. Hi Helen,I am really enjoying this project,You do beautiful work !!! I have a question.I wanted to do 3 alternating colors on the last round, round 97,will using different colors from round 98 cause a problem with round 98 ??? I am using a lot of colors and can’t imagine it not working, but I just wanted to make sure.Thank You,Michael

    • Helen Helen

Thanmk you, so pleased you are having fun 🙂
It may already be obvious, but round 98 is a lot of folding sc, and mainly hidden, so it should be no problem 😉
