Mandala Madness Part 17

Mandala Madness Part 17

Mandala Madness Part 17

Here we are at the penultimate week

This week we continue to pay homage to the setting sun.

I feel that many of you will have got to know a little bit about the madness of my mind, and this week is no exception!

So before hair gets torn out and the air turns blue I am going to just say this…

Read each step thoroughly…we all know whose mother assumption is!!!

Breathe……

Take each shell/sun one step at a time.

Breathe…..

Count, count, count.

Breathe…

Seriously folks, you’ve got this 🙂

If you haven't read the introduction post, then please find it here. You will find all the information on Yarn Packs, how much yarn you will need, hook sizes, the finished size of your blanket and all the resources available.

It is worth book marking the main Mandala Madness page as it will contain all the posts about the project and each weekly part.

You may also like to add this CAL to your Ravelry Queue.

I also have a group on Ravelry, which covers all of my designs. I will try to check in there every day. I now have some lovely moderators, thank you so much for your help ladies.

I suggest taking a look through the photo tutorial here before downloading the pdf to work from, but if you just can’t wait to get started I have put all the pdf downloads together.

And for those of you who like to follow the Video Tutorial by Esther Dijkstra from itsallinanutshell.com, just click here and the link will take you straight to the video for this part.
Again my love and thanks to Esther for the amazing job she has done with these videos.

  1. Hi. I am loving this Mandala but have found a few errors in row 103 1st shell after 14 v stitches should be skip one st before next v. Also at end of shell 3 there should be a skip st before last dc. It was a bit confusing but the video tutorial had the skip stitches.

    • Helen Helen

Hi Lisa, there are only 13 V st in shell 1, with 2 skipped sts before and 2 skipped sts at the end, and after shell 3 2 skipped sts, sc skip 1 st.
The pattern is correct, but that is a tricky round and the instrustions are broken up to help you take it step by step. Have fun 🙂

      • Oops my bad. First time I’ve followed a pattern so didn’t read it properly. Thanks it’s a gorgeous mandala.

  2. Thank you sharing your beautiful artwork with us. I have throughly enjoyed watching it grow! I can’t believe I made something so beautiful! Thanks again!

    • Helen Helen

    cordialement
    Pascale

    • Helen Helen

  4. Hallo Helen,
I have read on Facebook that there will be a group for your rose of Avalon pattern. I have bought it via Deramores. Should I also buy it via Raverly to join the group? Thanks! Doris

    • Helen Helen

The group for Rose of Avalon is only for German speaking people…if you need help from me or in English then either my Ravelry group or facebook page for crystalsandcrochet 🙂

  5. I’ve run out of color crafter yarn & need to know what colors for part 18so I can order enough to finish
