I am thrilled to have been asked to design a 12 inch square for the fabulous “Block-a-Month” Crochet A-long 2017 on Ravelry…or BAMCAL as it is affectionately called 🙂

If you are not signed up on Ravelry…get over there and create an account, it is a fabulous site, with thousands of patterns, and loads of helpful groups.

Here is a link for the BAMCAL group

“Starting in January and ending in December we will have 3 squares each month, a main 12” square and a 6” square (picked by the moderators) and a filler square for those who want to do an extra 12” square each month (which will be voted on by the members).”

I used:
Stylecraft Special Aran in Graphite, Silver, Aster and Cloud Blue.
Stylecraft Special Double Knitting, Royal, Denim and Cloud Blue.

All Stylecraft yarns are available from Woolwarehouse. – LovecraftsThe Knitting Network
When you use any of these links to purchase yarn I recieve a small commission at no cost to you, Bless you

I have also made video tutorials for the Crossed Treble Crochet, and one for Bead Stitch, just in case you have never done them before.

Please feel free to sign up to my YouTube channel for lots of helpful video tutorials.

Moody Blue is a great square to mix and match with any of my afghan squares.

Simple stitches mixed with Bead stitch and Crossed stitches give texture and definition.

10 inch square

Made with Double knit yarn and a 4mm hook.
